DC Nation DC Comics

[Editor’s Note: DC Nation #0 will be available for FREE to our in-store customers beginning Wednesday 5/2]

Free Comic Book Day is one of the best dates on the calendar to check off! I mean, you get free freakin’ comics. Did I mention they’re free? And if you get to a shop early enough you can get a bajillion of them. Except this week, DC Comics is offering what’s really the equivalent of their Free Comic Book Day offering a few days early. DC Nation #0 is going to be everything you ask for from a FCBD book but you won’t have to wait until Saturday. Pick it up this Wednesday.

For one quarter, you get material that won’t be available in any other comic before every series it touches on gets collected. Now, what are we getting for just twenty-five cents? Three brand-new stories from DC’s superstar lineup. First up we get to see the Joker’s reaction to discovering Catwoman has abandoned the Rogues Code and is getting hitched to his Bat King. Tom King and Clay Mann set into motion the terrifying tale that will lead to the massive wedding issue in Batman #50!

Next up is the prelude to Justice League: No Justice. Out of Dark Nights: Metal, find out what wonders and mysteries are in store for the DC Universe. Scott Snyder and company will give you a sneak peek about the biggest Justice League weekly story to hit in a long while. Will this be the resurgence of the premiere team from this corner of the comic book world? And the grand finale? After his tease of a story in Action Comics #1000, we’re getting a snippet of Brian Michael Bendis’ new run on Superman. To tee up the six-issue Man Of Steel mini-series, Mr. Bendis will show why both Superman and Clark Kent have never been more important to protecting Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

DC Nation #0 drops this Wednesday. Use the change you found in those pair of jeans to pick it up and get your just desserts a few days early this year.
