Fiasco: Game of the Week

Fiasco is the tabletop RPG without hours of preparation. It can be played not over months of all-day sessions, but in just a few hours. Fiasco may be the perfect RPG.

In a range of scenarios as varied as high school proms, crimes gone wrong, and supernatural invasions, players run their own GM-less game based on a simple series of dice rolls. There is no more expansive or collaborative tabletop game on the market.

Fiasco is a personal favorite of mine, as well as the likes of Matt Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick, who do intros for the module books and give a more ringing and weighted endorsement than I ever could. Grab these amazing RPG books and gift yourself the most rip-roaring tabletop game around.
