Forbidden Planet NYC’s 200 Best-Selling Graphic Novels of 2017

We sell a lot of graphic novels every year. Like, even I’m FLABBERGASTED by how many we put in the hands of customers from around the world. The top two hundred titles listed below barely scrape the surface of what we carry and sling on a daily basis- and they account for tens of thousands of units sold at Forbidden Planet NYC in 2017 alone.

After 37 years of selling comics and graphic novels we must still be doing something right. I’d like to speak for our staff in that we’re always happy to recommend something nearly anyone who walks through our door or shops with us online will enjoy. I think it also proves that print is by no means dead around here, and that specialty stores such as ours continue to be THE front line of a medium in its prime.

This will be a looooong post, listing all 200 titles linked to our webstore for your convenience. Hopefully you’ll find something new to be jazzed about in 2018 by browsing through it. I’ll also interject some notes about specific titles along the way.
